Big Island, Nova Scotia is actual a small island despite the name, however it lacks nothing in scenic landscapes and ocean front beauty. It is located in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
Road Trip Guide
Road Trip Guide is just a simple site of places me and my friends have visited, we do a small write up of the areas and have as many pictures added as we can. We also try to put local attractions and other local stories or other things we can find.
As I travel through smaller areas I often find some of the most beautiful scene areas, with very little coverage or information about them. Over time I intend to add more areas but my focus will be on the smaller areas, as I enjoy doing photography of landscapes, and I am sure I will add some smaller towns or cities, campgrounds or whatever I think will make a good story.
The famous areas everyone seems to focus on, but that has been done to death. There are so many little areas no one has ever heard about or even seen. I will attempt to bring them to you, however it may take years. I intend to travel all over Canada in another year or two, and then off to Europe, so over time I am hoping to have this site full of remote or unknown locations.
I would like to do evaluations of parks and places to stay as well, Bed & Breakfast, or small hotels/motels. If I do stay in any of them I will also mention it on here or if a business some how stood out that will be mention as well, while on my travels.
